Handheld HDR Above Ground Arts

Handheld HDR Photo shot in Toronto, Canada.  This location was very familiar to me while I was in school at Ryerson University.  I came to this art store most of the time.  It’s a great art store and I get pretty nostalgic when I see it today.  Walking down this street and seeing the CN Tower in the distance is awesome too.  The photograph isn’t perfect and I can tell you why too.   At the time of this, over a year ago, I was trying to learn the HDR technique for my photography.  I somehow got mixed up and thought that I needed to make sure I did not lose detail and over expose the scene.  It was actually the opposite and realizing this mistake, my HDR photography drastically increased in quality after this time period.  Kind of interesting to think about.  I still like how this turned out even though it didn’t follow the “rules”.

I made the decision to make photography a part of my everyday life. While I still battle depression every single day, I know photography helps keep me moving forward. There are days still spent in bed, but they’ve become less and less.
